An Artist Edition by Buchanan Studio and Robert Montgomery. The work originates in Montgomery's large-scale public installation at Centrepoint, London 2026 and is reimagined as a domestic sculpture translating its presence from the city into the home.
The text unfolds across each of the stainless-steel sides, where reflection becomes part of the composition. Light, movement, and environment activate the work, creating an interplay between the words and the reflection of their surroundings. The work holds a shifting presence, reinforcing the idea of something glimpsed and then lost.
The brass is left unlacquered, allowing it to develop a living finish over time. As it gathers patina, the surface responds to its surroundings, gradually recording the space in which it sits.
