Inspired by the soft geometric shapes and fluid forms of 1970's furniture, the Studio Chair captures the essence of the free flowing and imaginative designs of the era whilst also feeling firmly rooted in the present. Designed with the aim of uniting expert craftsmanship and a strong aesthetic, the Studio Chair combines generous proportions with curved edges and bold design, giving the illusion of five cushions "floating" together, despite its sturdy frame. Expertly handmade in England using traditional techniques, upholstered in our soft cotton velvet 'Checkmate' in either Peony or Sage.
'Peony' is a pale, soft pink, beautifully creamy, the shade changes colour in different lights.
'Sage' is an enigmatic charcoal green. Depending on the light, the shade varies between a deeper charcoal-green with blue undertones and a lighter silvery-green.
