the Neotenic lighting collection is inspired by the craft of glassmaking, curved shapes and a touch of Neapolitan nostalgia – making handmade glass the hero. The Neo Floor Light’s curvaceous bullnose shade is mouth blown in opal glass and swirled with good-enough-to-eat palette of Strawberry, Chocolate and Vanilla tones. When unlit, the swirly glass surface almost looks like delicious confectionery. When illuminated, the light transforms into a glowing pool of colour that brings warmth and character to any setting. Perched on a crisp white steel base with Buchanan Studio’s signature triangular motif, the Neo Table Light balances sculptural presence with everyday ease. The metal’s subtle texture softens the precise lines. Each shade emerges from our Oxfordshire oven with its own swirling pattern and delicate variations, a natural result of the hand-swirled glass that ensures no two lights are ever quite the same. A tilting mechanism lets you angle the shade, which is finished with a refined brass cap. It’s a truly extraordinary piece, perfect for adding a touch of flair to living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners.
